One Mind at a Time is a group of high school students dedicated to improving the lives of Ethiopian children by giving them access to the best possible education. The group believes that by working in coordination with a select school, we can work on promoting education in Ethiopia and unlocking every student's full potential, one mind at a time.
One Mind at a Time is a registered 501(c)(3) Nonprofit.

Outline and Goals
One Mind at a Time has a partnership with Tumet General Primary School in Tumet, Ethiopia, to help fill the needs of students, teachers, and the community. On the first trip to Tumet in December 2017, One Mind at a Time met with the Principal, teachers, students, and community leaders to assess need. After doing so, One Mind at a Time provided a variety of materials, ranging from pens and notebooks to floor mats for the Kindergarten classroom.
Though we have taken great first steps in our partnership with Tumet General Primary School, there is still more work to be done. The next project is one of huge importance: a new school building and a well.
Tumet General Primary School has a population of 550 students, ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 8. Each day, the students of the older grades sit in overcrowded classrooms, and all students are without any water source close to the school. Students must either carry water from home or leave class and use the well in town, which is a considerable distance away.
We have a fundraising goal of $9,000 to build a new building and well for Tumet General Primary School. 100% of donations will go towards the project, as each team member pays for their own plane ticket and in-country costs.
Any and all donations are currently being accepted through the website YouCaring.com. If you have any questions about anything, do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you so much for your generosity!
