Meet our Team

One Mind at a Time grew out of a high school classroom. We discussed Ethiopia’s economic status in the hall during passing periods and held meetings during lunch. Our values and experiences led us to believe that being a teenager did not inhibit us, but enabled us. We believe that our age allows us to relate to students in Ethiopia in meaningful and genuine ways. The aspirations of the students that we will soon come to meet are at the forefront of our mission. The foundation of our organization is built by our character and we want our donors to know us personally. Over the course of the next few months we will be posting blogs that give insight into our team and our motivations for creating this organization.

Hot Science - Cool Talks Community Fair Table

Hey everybody!

This Friday, March 24th, One Mind at a Time will have a table set up at the Hot Science - Cool Talks community fair. Come stop by at Welch Hall on UT campus from 5:30-7:00 pm to talk to us, and even attend the lecture "Solving a 3.2-Million-Year-Old Mystery: How Lucy Died" by Dr. John Kappelman.

Also, we will be accepting donations, and any who leave a tip will be entered into a drawing for the Ethiopian hand-made scarf pictured below! The drawing will take place at the end of the lecture, come out and support One Mind at a Time and hear about some awesome science!

Thank you for your support,
One Mind at a Time
